Love in the key of Britpop (3.5*)

An enjoyable but bittersweet poetic narrative about girl’s life as she meets a guy, falls in love and marries quickly so he can get a visa. All presented against a backdrop of Britpop references which I loved, but might mean nothing to you if you were not a serious fan back in the day.

The last ten minutes was particularly good, as the tone changes and we hear her hopes for the future.
